The launch site is selected to give you the best views and flight path for the forecast wind direction. Occasionally the wind direction will dictate that we have to fly from an alternative site, in which case we’ll take you and the other passengers in our Land Rover from the meeting point.

Our flights are usually made within a couple of hours of dawn or dusk taking advantage of the lighter winds and more stable weather conditions. Two flights are scheduled each day, seven days per week and can be booked by telephoning our office on any day during the week.

The main flying season is from April to October inclusive.

Who can fly?

Providing you are fit and able, age is not a limiting factor. Children are also very welcome, but must be at least 7 years of age and above 1.4m in height. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.  For obvious reasons, we would not allow you to fly if you are pregnant.
